“Jacob was diagnosed with Spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 11 months. Now he is 19 months and still continues with treatment. He finished proton radiation and still has more chemotherapy treatment. In January, the day of his birthday, Jacob was so sick and was rushed into an emergency surgery where they had to open his abdomen and leave it open for 2.5 months because his tumor was so big it was squishing all of his organs. Finally in March he got his tumor removed and abdomen closed. Now he is eating so well, running around like nothing happened; that's why we call him "Jacob the Warrior". "
