“Fletcher Layne Fazenbaker was born on July 24th, 2022 with an extremely rare congenital brain tumor. We were sent home on hospice with a 2-week life expectancy, however after 3 months, Fletcher continued to thrive, doing all the things doctors said she wouldn’t. After seeking second opinions only to hear "Nothing could be done," we reached out to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital who graciously accepted her! We arrived at St. Jude on November 6th, 2022 and stayed for a total of 5 months, experiencing miracle after miracle from God. From their biopsy of her tumor, targeted treatment to shrink it, and eventually a full resection on March 23rd, 2023, Fletcher is now TUMOR FREE! She is growing and thriving and turned 2 in July! She continued treatment through last October to clear out any possible remaining cells and has had clear scans since then. We will continue to follow up every 3 months and pray there is no recurrence! God is so good!
We have a road ahead of us but Fletcher’s purpose has never been more clear. She has taught us so much in her short time on Earth and I know her story will continue to bring people to Jesus. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and prayers!"
